Your Dark Skies Weekend 

Arrive at Exmoor Camping Barn on either Friday 18th or Saturday 19th October at 4pm to enjoy the peace and tranquillity before the evening begins.

Saturday Daytime (Optional)

Dark Skies Big Adventure for families with Exmoor National Park Authority and the National Trust Come and explore the natural world with family games and activities lasting all day. Play in the woodland, make a den and maybe hear the roaring stags on the nearby hills. (See Exmoor National Park website for more details)

Saturday Evening (Included)

Myths, Magic and Monsters in the Night Sky’

A fun talk of Greek myths and legends in the stars above accompanied by a hearty supper of chilli, vegetarian chilli or curry with rice, pitta bread and a choice of puddings: seasonal crumble or cheesecake plus tea and coffee plus toasted marshmallows from the BBQ. Bring your own wine or beer. We’ll do as much outside as we can, weather permitting; otherwise we’ll be in the barn at Little Quarme.

Sunday Evening (Optional)

Meteors over Dunkery

Weather permitting see the Orionid meteor showers as you join a National Park Ranger and walk up to the highest point on Exmoor. (See ENP website)
